Farewell & Goodnight

This is a “storm surge map,” yes it is the worst case scenario map. If you can see the map I live just east of Pasadena and just south of the Houston Ship Channel. We are being told to expect the worse case scenario, which in case you don’t know is massive flooding from Galveston Bay into Texas City, Baytown, La Porte, Pasadena, and the ship channel, which will then surge into many of the local bayous clogging the storm sewers, which will then flood many low-lying parts of the city. About an hour ago the idea of evacuating East End was coming into place, the decision to stay or go? My grandma & grandpa live there, should I leave them or should I go? Built up in a 3 room 1909 house, should I go?
I found an interesting animation of what would happen to the coast line, it’s from the
Chronicle. A storm doesn’t even have to make a direct hit to make these kinds of waves, just power sheer power.
